Youth Co:Lab organized a webinar on ‘Advancing Gender Equality through Entrepreneurial Innovation and Technology.’ Aligned with this year's theme, “DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality,” the Springboard Plus session focused on educating and inspiring participants by showcasing the impact of gender-inclusive entrepreneurship and the role technology and innovation can play in advancing gender equality as shared by successful entrepreneurs. It was moderated by Syed Ommer Amer, Founder of Daastan and joined by Youth Co:Lab alumni Shreeya Giri, Founder of Happy Minds, Ziana Sakhia, Co-Founder of Bechlo.pk and Hester Spiegel-van den Steenhoven, Co-founder, Epic Angels, as speakers. The women entrepreneurs shared their experiences of barriers and enablers to entrepreneurship and initiatives utilizing technology and innovation to advance gender equality.

To commemorate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities Leave No One Behind and Youth Co:Lab held a webinar, Transformative Solutions for Inclusive Development: The Role of Innovation in Fueling an Accessible and Equitable World. Joining the panel, we have Tanvir Ahmed Tonmoy, the president of PDF’s chapter at the University of Dhaka, Abrahim Ali Shah from Mobiliti, and Jaein Jung from OHFA Tech. Alisa Sivathorn, Disability Inclusion and Empowerment Specialist (UNDP BRH), will be moderating the panel discussion. The webinar covered topics around: Barriers and challenges faced by persons with disabilities across the region and ways of overcoming them Innovative strategies and practices on PwD inclusion at the country level from Asia and the Pacific Showcase stories of youth entrepreneurs who work for and with persons with disabilities and the challenges they face Recommendations and lessons from Asia-Pacific, including examples of innovations and entrepreneurship that address barriers and empower persons with disabilities .
