In this ever changing fast-paced world, more and more people are experiencing physical or mental health issues. The on-going COVID-19 pandemic has made this even worse. Science has proven that the practice of yoga and meditation substantially improves people’s health and general well-being. Yoga Yangchen offers yoga and meditation services for body, mind, and spirit. It aims to improve the well-being of all sentient beings. Yoga Yangchen offers yoga and meditation classes for individuals, organizations, and hospitality. With a threefold teaching approach targeting body, mind and spirit, Yoga Yangchen helps people on their journey to become a better version of themselves. Old or young, beginner or intermediate, male, or female, physically fit or not. Anyone can join the practice and improve their well-being. It is something you can do anytime and anywhere, alone or with family and friends.
Yoga Yanchen is also the co-founder of Doghouse Bhutan, a not for-profit initiative building doghouses for the many free roaming dogs of Bhutan.
Yoga Yangchen has recently celebrated its first year and has taught classes to over 100 people, both paid and for free. I have almost 5000 followers on social media and featured several times in national news media as well. This allowed me to also co-found Doghouse Bhutan, a not for-profit initiative building doghouses for the many free roaming dogs of Bhutan. We currently already have built, painted, and placed around 120 doghouses.

"My most valuable take-away is that I no longer feel alone in my quest to make the world a better place for both people as well as animals. His Holiness the Dalai Lama once said “If you think you are too small to make a difference, try sleeping with a mosquito”. I am inspired by the many young social entrepreneurs who, each in their own way, are trying to make a difference in this beautiful planet of us we call Earth. I feel I now belong to a new family and a new professional network. Both of which are very valuable in being able to achieve the visions of our social enterprises."
